## Full description
Most to-do apps are good at holding a list. They are not good at helping you follow through — and many of them make the day feel worse, not better.

SPQRK Today is built around a small piece of psychology rather than a longer feature list: capturing a thought and deciding what to do about it are different moments, and keeping them apart is what leaves a day taking on only what it can hold.

Notes and tasks are one kind of item
There is no separate note and task. Without a day, an item is a note. Give it a day and the same item becomes a task on that day — nothing to convert, re-enter, or file.

Dump it now, decide later
Thoughts arrive when they arrive. Capture them in one line and keep going — no project, no priority, no due date to argue with. Deciding what becomes of each line is a separate job, and it can wait until you have a minute.

The day has a size
In the evening for tomorrow, or early for today, choose what the day will actually hold. Give each task a duration; the planned minutes add up. Everybody underestimates how long work takes — that is the planning fallacy. A list with no end never tells you to stop. A running total does.

Adding is also searching
Typing to add is also typing to search, so you find the note you already made instead of writing it twice. Day, duration, and label can go on while you are still typing.

Done sinks, but stays visible
Check something off and it moves to the bottom of the list for the rest of the day. Some days feel like nothing got done; the bottom of the list is the evidence that something did. No streaks, points, or badges — a day off costs nothing.

No account. No cloud of ours. Offline.
No sign-in, no sync, no ads, no tracking. Nothing you write is transmitted to us. It works entirely offline on Android 8.0 and later, in English and German. (There is no iPhone version.)

One payment, or none at all
Notes, tasks, durations, and the whole day view are free and stay free. Everything is unlimited for the first fourteen days. After that the free tier keeps notes and tasks unlimited, plus Today and Tomorrow. Pro is $9.49 / €9.99 once — never a subscription — and adds unlimited labels, pick-a-date, and image attachments. Limits apply when you create something new, never when you open it, so nothing you already made is taken away.
